A number of weeks ago I went for the first time to Eat Street Markets at Hamilton Wharf on the Brisbane River's North Shore. The markets are a collection of stalls offering a wide variety of different cuisines from around the world, as well as super cute knick knacks from local designers and collectors. The food is absolutely delicious (I sampled from Hungary, Greece, Japan and Mexico), even with so many options it's impossible to go wrong. Next time you find yourself free of an evening and for want of something to do, rope in a pall and go along. It's not something you'll be likely to regret, I promise.
The Spring Shop Christmas Look Book
Yesterday, Catherine from The Spring Shop and I shot the Spring Shop Christmas Look Book. I had the pleasure of shooting her Winter Look Book back in March, but yesterday topped all. We had a lot of fun arranging and rearranging Spring Shop goodness and stunning Christmas foliage from Wilde Flora, the gingerbread 'props' slowly but surely disappearing from the enamelware into our mouths. You can find the entire collection here.
Anise Skincare
Last Thursday was busy indeed. In the morning, Catherine and I shot the Spring Shop Look Book, before cleaning up and sitting down to our sacred Thursday Lunchtime Burgers. In the afternoon, I was left to my own devices to capture Anise Skincare's range in both styled and deep-etched shots. The styling was a breeze due to the fact that Anise's packaging is already breathtaking all on it's own, however I did use a bit of help from Wilde Flora, The Small Garden and Milly Dent. The entire Anise Skincare range is available at Showroom.
Milly Dent + Once Was Lost
This Thursday's shoot consisted of delicious-looking Milly Dent Gem Cups and beautifully handmade scarves from Once Was Lost. We had the pleasure of hosting a launch party for the brilliant Surrey Hills ceramic designer on Friday, you can shop her entire range now at Showroom (there are about a bazillion of these marbled-babies sitting on a table in the middle room). The scarves are from the Once Was Lost Pop-up Shop currently open in store. The Pop-up was originally only going to last for a week, but it met with such success that it's staying open for another two! Stop by if you get a chance, this home-grown combination is one of those few things you'd consider dying for.
Nest the Label
Last week I had the privilege to style and shoot Nest the Label's new range at Showroom. This charming tea set has a rattle that makes you want to throw a garden party and nibble on pink bon bons, and inspires pinky-pointing even your grandmother would be proud of. You can find the entire range at Showroom on Latrobe Tce, Paddington.
